L'dor V'dor- Traditions!
- Opening Rituals- all business meetings will begin with the
banging of the gavel, reciting quotes, Menorah Pledge Principles, and the reciting of the Hatikvah.
- Menorah Pledge- reciting of the principles which include:
citizenship, Jewish Heritage, community service, philanthropy, inter-faith relations, tradition, good sisterhood, and the
Prayer for World Jewry.
- Friendship Circles- All regional/BBYO events end with the coordinators
reviewing their work, saying thank-you's, etc.
- Closing Circles- all business meetings will end with a hand-holding-
closed circle and the singing of "We Pledge to Thee."
- Spooey- basically... pretzels dipped in icing. However, it
is the BBG "tradition food."
- Beau and Sweetheart- every term (6 months), BBG will elect and AZA
brother to bring food and be there at all meetings. AZA will do the same for a sister BBG.
